Blair McDaniel-President
Blair McDaniel, President of Alair Homes, has been involved in many aspects of construction both commercial and residential over the past ten years. He oversees all aspects of the construction process from permit application to occupancy as well as acquisitions and planning. Blair has credentials from both Seneca College in Ontario and the University of British Columbia in Real Property Assessment and Administration. With extensive knowledge in commercial construction Blair is able to bring expertise that makes your project possible when unique or custom processes are necessary.

Anita Germann – Project Manager
Anita Germann is a Project Manger with an extensive background in residential and commercial Interior Design.
Her combination of skills, close attention to quality control and detail and a continued presence on the construction site are a valuable asset to the team when managing the ‘construction through to occupancy’ process.

David Babakaiff- President (Vancouver)
Serving the greater Vancouver area, David brings 15 years of experience in construction management of award winning custom homes and renovations. David has a background in civil and structural engineering and is the past vice president of Canadian Home Builders Association, interior BC chapter. With extensive knowledge in residential construction, David is able to bring expertise that makes your project possible when unique or custom processes are necessary. Allison is Alair’s lead designer with credentials from Sheridan institute. Allison has an exceptional ability to envision and create truly unique designs that suit each client’s specific tastes.
Ken McArthur- Project Manager
Overseeing every detail. Ken physically oversees schedules and inspects every aspect of the build. Ken brings over twenty two years experience in the field of on-site construction management. With a background in detailed interior finishing as well as commercial structure framing, Ken is able to creatively deal with any issue with the absolute best results with both structural quality and finish in mind. Kens remarkable attention to detail ensures the absolute best relations with both client and city officials.
Justin Weir- Site Supervisor
Justin has been with Alair Homes from the start. With over seven years related experience and education from Malaspina College Justin brings a strong understanding of all aspects of residential construction. Known for his well rounded abilities and attention to detail, Justin oversees on site construction as well as Alair’s Guarantee program above and beyond the required provincial warranty programs.
Shawn Leslie- Site Supervisor
Shawn manages on site construction on several Alair sites and brings over five years related experience. Shawn’s incredible energy and professionalism make him an invaluable asset to the Alair Management team. Shawn has proven his ability to creatively and effectively deal with on site issues to save time and money.
Chris Crawford- Site supervisor
Chris manages on site tasks on all of Alair’s sites. Chris is mobile and available to take care of any and all issues as they arise. Chris is a volunteer firefighter and maintains his first aid credentials.

Jamie Affleck comes from a family of award winning custom home builders, based both in Canada and in Australia. In the last ten years, Jamie’s experience in the home building industry has included general management, finishing carpentry, high efficiency insulation systems and financing. Jamie is committed to providing clients with a level of service that encourages client involvement, offers a transparent management system and delivers a finished product that exceeds the clients expectations.
